NEW! MCW Low Profile Chiller
Check out this new Marine Air chiller model. Click here to view the PDF.

NEW! AT-DC Air Handler
This new air handler eliminates “motor hum” which occur from traditional air conditioning blowers at very low speeds. Incoming alternating current is converted to drive a high-efficiency, brushless DC fan motor. The result is a much quieter fan operating across a broad range of variable speeds, permitting the user to select the desired comfort level. Click here to see color flyer.

Chilled Water

Our customized chilled water air conditioning systems are often the ideal solution for larger yachts from 70 feet to over 200 feet. Our engineers work with the vessel's designers to plan the entire system including Chiller® placement, heating options, air handlers and fresh air make-up. The Chiller itself features multiple compressors and refrigerant circuits for maximum power, efficiency and virtually failproof operation. The environmental control unit provides one-touch setting of fan speed and cabin temperature as well as easy creation of comfort zones.

Marine Air Systems will customize a chilled water system tailored to the specific needs of your vessel.

Chiller Compact

Marine Air's revolutionary new Chiller Compact system was introduced in 1999 as an alternative to split-gas direct-expansion systems for boats in the 45-70 ft. range. Available in capacities ranging from 16,000 to 24,000 BTU, the Chiller Compact uses circulated water in a closed loop in place of copper refrigerant tubes.

The 1987 Montreal Protocol calls for the gradual phase-out of ozone-depleting substances by 2010, including the R-22 gas traditionally used in marine air conditioning systems. Our engineers have been testing alternative “green gas” products for more than three years and we have products available.

For "green gas" and all other product availability, contact one of our distributors for the best specifications for your particular vessel. Click here for guidelines on Charging Systems with Alternative Refrigerants.
